About Attorney John Wait

John founded Wait Law after clerking for several judges at the North Carolina Court of Appeals. He focuses his practice on civil and criminal appeals, traffic tickets, criminal defense,  civil litigation, and estate planning. Since starting the firm, John has litigated cases in State Court, Federal Court, the North Carolina Industrial Commission, and the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

In his free time, John enjoys playing soccer, running, cycling, reading novels, and spending time with his family. Having grown up on a farm, John brings a small town, client-focused approach to cases, and he is dedicated to making sure clients get results.
