Lawyer’s Weekly Names Wait Law Appeal One of Most Important Opinions in 2012

Estate of Wooden v. Hillcrest, et al., COA12-216 (Decided August 21, 2012) – The North Carolina Court of Appeals reversed a trial court’s decision to dismiss Plaintiff’s medical malpractice action. John Wait represented the Plaintiff on appeal. In its annual review of the most important decisions of the year, North Carolina Lawyer’s Weekly nominated the opinion for one of the Most Important Decisions of 2012.
